After the enormous snowfalls of the last days (up to 200 cm of fresh snow) milder air is moving in. Snowlevels are going up to 2100 meters during Friday and Saturday. The combination of milder air and moisture (rain up to 1900 meters) will cause wet avalanches below 1900 meters. Only the reasorts in the east will have a great start of the Friday with cooler air and fresh snow. Because of the bad visibility today and Saturday you’d better save your euro’s for Sunday.
As more and more lifts are opening Sunday might be your bet. Colder air and snow will be moving in and the snowpack is stabilizing.
