Exposition

Encapsuled by the three-thousanders of the Zillertaler Alps in the north, the Hohe Tauern in the east and the Riesernferngruppe in the south, storms will only arrive from the south to southwest to completely empty their clouds here. Something that occurs mostly from mid November until the end of January. These are the months that a base should be established. If there is already a solid base, and it’s dumping again, it definitely worth paying a visit. The fresh snow is conserved due to the northern orientation of the slopes and the innteralpine location.

With bad weather

When the snow pack allows it, beautiful treeruns to the valley floor can be found. Otherwise, take the Sonnenlift and Hühnerspiellift.

In mayrhofen is zo'n beetje alles dicht. Storm, warm en zonnig. Hopelijk brengt PA#7 hier ook wat vers met minder wind...
