Exposition

Anzère lies in the sunny side of the Rhone Valley, so you wouldn’t expect a schneeloch around here. A massive western stau can form because of the Wildhorn (3248m). The best snow falls out of the warm fronts and the rapidly following cold fronts during a western stau. Is it föhn-ish, dry, but clouded in Nendaz, it’ll be more than likely dumping in Anzère, all thanks to the orographic effects. Just don’t wait too long! Because of the southern direction of the slope the snow won’t stay perfectly dry for too long. Be sure to be there in time. The best period to head there is January.

With bad weather

There isn't a wildschutz yet, but some areas are adviced to be avoided.
