Exposition

Just south of the alpenhoofdkam Cervinia lies at the foot of the Matterhorn. The elevated Cervinia has much snow needed before all the stones are covered and it is also terribly sensitive to the harsh north blow from the north and snowflakes never get here. No, the most snow comes from the south, where the heat fronts of Atlantic storm depressions most snow behind. This is something you do not often see dead of winter. Cervinia is also at its best after mid-February when there is a solid basis.

With bad weather

Breuil Cervinia are no trees. Better neighborhood you out to Valtournenche on days when the dumps.
