Exposition

Brigels is no powderhole. It's situated on a southern slope, right in between the north alpine ridge and the main alpine ridge, on top of that it has next to no cover of trees to keep the snow fresh. Most snow fall in the early and late winter, when the fronts still reach deep into the alps. Luckily it's located inneralpine so the snow stays fresh midwinter, but starting mid-February the sun gets too strong fast. You'll have to use your powdernose, and with some smart thinking you'll be riding some freshies in the few shadowy flanks the area has.

With bad weather

Almost every tree here is wildschutz. You'd better go to Tschiertschen or Lenzerheide.
