Exposition

Far North of the Main alpine ridge lays Hinterstoder. With the Totes Gebirge in it's back yard, the area really is a powderhole when the nordstau fires up. Especially when the glijbaan is running full throttle it will keep dumping in this remote valley. And because the majority of it's powder fields afre facing North the snow is kept fresh for a long period of time. The only problem is that it never gets very steep and as a result of that the sun can get it's grip on the area in February resulting in a early start of spring.

With bad weather

Enough trees to rely on when the noordstau keeps hammering.
