Exposition

Less than 70 kilometers from the Mediterranean Sea Isola 2000. In the southern foothills of the French alpenhoofdkam predominates a particular climate. The summers are hot and dry, but woe if in autumn and in winter a Genoa low in the Gulf of Genoa nests. Then record amounts of snow fall here and because most of the elevators on northern slopes is remains surprisingly long verse. During northern winter called you avoid this part prefer, but if there is a southern winter arises. Snow comes here from southern directions and do at those times when low pressure areas from the Iberian peninsula towards the southern Alps draw. In their journey to the Alps they pick up the Mediterranean some extra moisture. From March, the spring itself again.

With bad weather

To a height of 2300 meters you can find here larches. Better you then as they fall because here is the divine among the trees away.
