Exposition

Kühtai has given itself the subtitle schneegarantie.at which is music to any powderlovers ears. But there's a big difference between guaranteed snow and schneeloch. Kühtai might be positioned high up in the Alps and opens early and closes late in the season, it doesn't as much pow as the First Alps. But it isn't all bad news. Kühtai is not part of the inneralpine so it doesn't stay dry during the winter. In fact, Kühtai is quite average when it comes to fresh snow. Overall, decent snow conditions to enjoy on a sunny day just after a dump.

With bad weather

No trees so on a bad day better go to Oetz and do some treeruns there.
