Exposition

Les Orres is situated just above Embrun in the Alpine foothills of the French southern Alps. Snow arrives from the west to south. In the ideal situation, this snow is accompanied by arctic air that enters the European mainland through the Bay of Biscay. At such times, Austria is still experiencing föhn winds, but avalanche risk in the southern alps quickly rises to Considerable or even High. The perfect time to ride fluffy powder in between the trees.

With bad weather

Covered with trees between 1650 and 2300 meters. On bad-weather days the trees are full of fun.
