Exposition

Meiringen-Hasliberg is located in the first alpine ridge of the north Alps and has marvellous views on Eiger and Wetterhorn. Because the majority of the slopes are south facing the snow will be set very quickly midwinter and will transform to a harschdeckel (hard cover) during spring. The few north facing slopes are different. Because of its location up north it claims lots of snow from the north from very early winter on. From mid March the sun is too powerful to conserve the snow.

With bad weather

Majority of the tree areas is protected, wildschutz. During bad weather there is only one place to go: left and right of the Magisalp T-bar.
