Exposition

Immediately out of the Arlbergtunnel is Pettneu. And with that it's east of the Arlberg. It often dumps like crazy here, but because it's in the snow shade of the Arlberg itself it just feels like it's less than on the other side of the tunnel. But still it's a lot of snow, that because of the south facing slope that the lifts are built on has to suffer a lot. Not immediately after a dump, but later in winter when the sun gets stronger. The weststau is significantly weaker here than on the west side of the Arlberg and you will notice that even during a northweststau. Just when the flow comes directly from the north this place receives the most snow.

With bad weather

Reasonable amount of tree runs to enjoy yourself with on dump days.

Zitten in sankt Anton en de sneeuw hier is top! Zeker vandaag met het zonnetje erbij. Veel gekraak onder de ski's!
