Exposition

Pila is like Corumayeur south of the Alpenhoofdkam . Snow from the north therefore not here. Snow from the south however. High mountains and Mt. Blanc and Gran Paradiso ensure the correct flow direction for the right stau . Pila is located just above Aosta and is sensitive to blow from the northwest to north. On those days you fanning top of the tops. The Aosta Valley is so wide that the microclimate Courmayeur keeps cooler on hot days, not working. Pila up the most snow in from the west and southeast. Pila, the snow because the northern slopes long verse, but it is the end of March really fast too warm.

With bad weather

The Chamole and Grimondet lifts provide sufficient trees to the left and right also on bad weather days to shoot.

Amazing day in Pila. Upper lifts shut, but knee deep powder trees. Didn't even mess my skis up too bad.
