Exposition

With the Cimon della Pala in the backyard, this is where the first high peaks of the Dolomites start. High enough to just about keep the clouds from the southwest in their place a little longer and let them snow out right here. Luckily most lifts are facing northwest, so when the snow has already fallen you'll be able to find freshies for days. San Martino usually picks up snow early in the season, however it's at it best when the second series of fronts head its way from the southwest in February.

With bad weather

Left and right of the Tognale lift you can find a number of beautiful tree-runs and pillows. A forest to enjoy for days.
