What's left to say about the Arlberg? It's Austria's snow magnet. Code words are northstau and powder hole. Even with a weststau this area gets lots of snow. Because of its higher altitude it hardly has any issues with the higher temperatures of passing warm fronts. Chances of scoring no powder here are close to zero. Only a long period of föhn from the south can warm up the valley, with lots of wind and melting snow. Don't forget that there's a lot of powder panic in the Arlberg.

With bad weather

Most has changed in nature reserve. There are some treeruns possible in St. Anton and Zürs and Lech.
