See lays similar to Ischgl just behind Arlberg with the main alpine ridge in the South. The hills in See are directly connected to the valley which is fairly wide and as a result of that a Southwest föhn is immediately noticeable. Snow comes from between the Northwest and the North. The best time to visit See is from the mid of January until the mid of March. After March spring will take over the area.

With bad weather

Trees can be found on both sides of the Rauhkopflift. More trees can be found beneath the aerial tramway, although the locals in the village won't be very happy.

Heavy storms in the surrounding areas Arlberg, Ischgl, Kappl and Serfaus resulted in a lot of closed lifts but in See it was sunny, less windy and the lifts were open. Almost no people and powder in abundance.
