Exposition

Brixen is located northeast of Bolzano. A region which is famous all over the world for it's artificial snow and artificial snow installations. Nowadays it's even a very important export product. Driven by winters without snow, they have perfected the art of manmade snow. Yet there are winters which are an exception, the so-called southern winters. Lots of snow which comes from the south or southwest with a snowline which fluctuates between a 1000 and 1500 meters. If there is a lack of snow coming from the north, Brixen is a good option.

With bad weather

On days when it dumps you could ride tree runs underneath the Trametschlift or the Valazzalift. If there is a lot of snow, it's possible to descend all the way down underneath the aerial tramway, this happens a few times a year.
