Exposition

Far south of the main alpine ridge, in the heart of the Dolomites, lies Trevalli. The Marmolada is within climbing range and it's this mountain range that causes the best upward thrust. Snow comes from southerly directions, with snow from the southwest delivering the largest amounts. Especially during the cold-fronts it can snow intensely. Because a number of the runs directly facing south the snow will tranform a little faster when the sun gains strength in Febraury. In the middle of winter this is less of an issue.

With bad weather

Not a lot of cover here, but to the left and right of the Falcade chairlift you can find some. You can also try the Col Margherita gondola, but the top is sensitive to wind and has no trees.
