Courmayeur-Freeride guide/advice

  Hello all.
  Six guys from Norway travelling to Italy on sunday 24th Jan. Staying the week.
  Mixed snowboarders/skiers.
  We have just changed our destination from Alagna Valsesia to Courmayeur due to, well, you guessed it, snow.
  All advice on does and dont's regarding freeriding/offpiste skiing in Courmayeur would be highly appreciated.
  Been online, searching, but can't seem to find to much information or a good guide to good/safe runs in courmayeur.
  We have gear to go trekking, but no experience with ropes.

  The Guide de Courmayeur is one of the oldest established and most qualified guides/mountaineers in Europe.
  
  I couldn't fault them. Their office is impossible to miss, its in the heart of the village in a beautiful building.
