Yes, already 5-10 inches at the Tetons, Montana and Canadian Rockies this morning and the good news is… it’s still snowing. This looks like the final episode of a series of storms that brought up to 3 feet of fresh powder. I’ve been at the Gothics the last few days and I can tell you, it was DEEP.

You may expect snowfall to continue untill this afternoon before it tracks further southeast. The precipitation will become lighter before it arrives at snowmagnets like steamboat.

High pressure is building up for the weekend. So expect sunny skies, bluebird and everything to be tracked beforne Saturday afternoon. A occasion when the side country might look appealing. If you do so, don’t forget to take your beeper, probe and shovel with you and check your local avalanche bulletin.

A new storm is planned to move in as from Tuesday. Enjoy your weekend and make sure to score some poeder.

Stay stoked
