Yes, this might be a big one. Winds are turning north and a lot of moisture is moving in. Resorts at the northern side of the main ridge will get hammered from Friday till Sunday. Expect continues snowfalls so resorts with trees might be your best bet. Since temperatures will drop hard and snowlevels will go down to the valleys this might be the weekend for epic treeruns.

Make sure you score some powder this weekend!

Stay stoked

Morris. This is nonsense. It’s pissing down torrential rain in the north west alps and has been all day. There will not be any tree skiing to be done anywhere in the northwest alps as there are no trees above the current snow line and all tree snow is now destroyed. It wil take a major dump to cover up the damage and there is no sign of that happening this weekend as the cold will only kick in at the back of this first wave of the front. Good snow will be found only above the tree line where visibility will be low and avi danger will be high. Maybe time for you to pay a little more attention to qualified meteorological experts and services in local alpine areas and a little less time on bragging about how lucky you have been this season with your travels!
