I hope you enjoyed your summer, got some waves or even went down under for an Endless Winter. Countdown has started for a new winter in the Northern hemisphere. “Winter is coming” to the Rockies this week and we even saw the first flakes in Austria.
We saw some good snow coming down around and east of Banff and even Calgary. And when we take a look at the webcams there is still some snow te be found.
After Canada the storm system tracked down towards northern and central Montana where they received snow over the night. Moderate snow falls have been reported from the upper elevations of Glacier National Park and the Big Sky ski area and extended into Yellowstone. First signs of a winter to come. Don’t expect this snow to last until the winter. The sun is still pretty strong. But hey, it’s a start.
