The weather is changing today in western Europe. From around 20 degrees to more autumn-like weather. Let’s check out the webcams. The cold front wasn’t that strong, but more than enough to drop some snow on the mountains.
It’s snowing lightly in the northern Alps since Sunday afternoon. Switzerland was first in line, Austria followed shortly. Don’t expect large amounts of snow, but it’s more than enough to give you some winter feeling.
It will get dry and warmer again tomorrow. Some snow may fall on Thursday, but we’ll have to wait till the end of the month after that. Don’t start your engines, because snow in September pretty much always melts within a couple of days. King Winter better saves its recourses to switch on the snow machine in the middle of October. The best thing that can happen is lots of snow in November and December. So far, so good!
