You can ride exotic powder you in places where you do not expect to find something. Such as the Black Forest, you know… the German Schwarzwald. Klaus and Baschi shared some images with us. Because of the immense avalanche danger (and ditto powder stress) they decided not to opt for the big mountain lines above the tree line, but to look lower on the mountain. They even found some great powder in their backyard. Klaus, Baschi and friends are living in the Black Forest. The region where the king of the forest is organized every year and where you can find better features than you can can imagine.

More images can be found here and for current updates of Baschi you need to be here. Let’s head to the Black Forest the next time a northwest stau hits the Alps, or should I say, the Black Forest? Sounds good! It’s on my hotlist.Sweeeeeeettt! © Baschi Bender
