PA #10 has started and it’s snowing heavily. Not only in the southern and western Piedmont it’s snowing like crazy, but the Italian Apennines are on like Donkey Kong as well. Already 60 cm of freshies and the big bang is still to come! A selection of webcams for you.
Freeride in the Apennines
Especially in the Apennines the freeriding is still something exotic with a group of very dedicated locals. With these exceptional circumstances this mountain range is well worth a visit. The locals came up with these tips: Febbio 2000 (the lifts will open this weekend), Abetone and Cimone. Happy hunting this weekend. It is deep!

I think that even Pratospilla (http://pratospilla.pr.it) could be a great place; it is opened on friday and there are a lot of tree runs.
Honestly speaking Febbio could be very dangerous due to avalanche…the lines over the trees are very steep, while the beech wood is very narrow
