Live tonight at 6.15 PM: FWT in Haines, Alaska

This week is the first time the Freeride World Tour stops in Haines, Alaska. The riders have been on hold since Saturday waiting for a snow storm to settle so that the face could be secured. The venue has now been secured by the Seaba Heli and FWT guides and everything is ready. In order to not miss the weather window, a decision has been made to go ahead and hold the contest today.

Let’s get it started!

The start order of the competition is Ski Men, then Snowboard Men, Ski Women and Snowboard Women. There is the possibility of having a World Champion crowned in three of the four categories already at this stop, so it promises to be extremely exciting.

The start is at 6.15 PM Central European Time. Let’s enjoy some great riding today!

Contest is postponed because of the weather…

One day, they'll invent synthetic powder, ban all kinds of work and give you a free liftpass...
