The meterological Autumn is around the corner and we’re firing up our weather model for an awesome winter again. And the best thing, there’s some snow on its way!
We’ll have to deal with warm air on Saturday and Sunday (enjoy summer people!), but the current is turning northwest to north after the weekend and that means that you might have to grab that mid layer, because temperatures will drop.
The snowline (that’s now around 4000 meters in the Alps), will drop temporarily to 2000 meters (and will rise again after). This will result in significant snowfall on Wednesday above 2500 meters and we could see white webcames on Thursday. Details may shift the next couple of days, but I can’t wait to be honest!
It’s also a great test for our new weather model that we hope to present you next week. Let’s hope it will be an awesome winter again with a lot of PowderAlerts.
Enjoy the weekend! The next update will be on Monday.
