Skiing in Svalbard

Skiing in Svalbard

Svalbard is an island pretty much as north as you can get. This definitely one of the places on earth where you can still find adventure. In May the ski season in the US and Europe is over, but it starts at Svalbard. The midnight sun makes it possible to ski at night. They don’t have ski racks over there, but gun racks, to protect themselves from the polar bears living there. It’s probably the wildest place on earth where there are more lines unskied than skied. No music, just great images and commentary.

Arjen
was born with maps of ski areas in the cradle and has visited almost all of them. His great passion is freeriding.
