Pro-skier Erik Roner has died in a tragic skydiving accident. That is reported by Teton Gravity Research. Another legend passed away.
Skydiving
He was skydiving above Lake Tahoe, California to open a golf tournament. He was part of a group of four (including skiers JT Holmes and Aaron McGovern). Something went terribly wrong with the landing where Roner hit a tree at high speed.
TGR and Nitro Circus
Erik Roner was a regular in multiple TGR films and you could see him doing stunts as well at Nitro Circus. Roner leaves two young children and his wife behind. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends…
