Snow in the Alps often means no precipitation in Scandinavia. And warm temperatures and no precipitation in the Alps often means snow in Scandinavia. Well, right now, that’s true. It’s getting warm in the Alps again and the snow maps for western Norway are turning red. The temperature will be pretty high today and tomorrow, but it will get colder on Sunday with some freshies.
The list is looking good and the high temperatures will disappear from the maps from Saturday.
If you zoom in on Røldal you can easily see how much snow you can expect on Monday. And we emphasize ‘expect’. The forecast for western Norway shift every once in a while. What looks like deep today can be ankle-deep tomorrow. We’ll see what happens the next couple of days.
