It is with heavy hearts that we report the death of 30-year-old Swedish big-mountain skier Matilda Rapaport. She was buried in an avalanche while shooting for a commercial film in Farrellones, Chile on Thursday, July 14. She passed away in a hospital in Chili today. She was in a coma due to complications resulting from a lack of oxygen.
Our thoughts are with her husband Mattias Hargin and her family.
