Hi all forecast enthusiasts! I have been glued to different forecasts trying to analysis the probabilities of fresh snow for next week around Chamonix, until yesterday there was a good chance with relatively milder temperatures but this morning it looks like a change for a totally different outcome with a high pressure settling over the alps for most of the week from Tuesday 24th...
Anyone with a more promising view for a bit of pow?

Hi guys! On the basis of the current conditions, what would be the region in the western alps (fly in geneva 26th jan) for some freeride, backcountry and a bit of randonnee? Thanks for any tips and keep up the excellent work!

Looking at the Grand Massif area and praying for a bit of fresh powder...
    Cheers

@FredKorua, for now there is no snow in the forecast for the Haute Savoie. Models are aiming at a solid new layer for the Italian Piemonte. If you want to ride freshies I would go for a longer ride towards the South.

@Lauri January 26th is already pretty far in the future. Please ask you question again later this week.
May the powder be with you.
