It's snowing in the Alps since Sunday. The snowfall comes with a lot of wind in the main alpine ridge, so most of the snow that falls down is blown away. You can find a decent snowpack in the other parts of the northern Alps (including the Ortler region). It will keep on snowing till Tuesday morning.
