It’s been an exciting winter so far. No that it’s that cold, but it seems to be snowing pretty much everywhere! Even at places that guarantee a summer feeling during winter. About 30-40 cm of fresh snow came down on the Canary Islands above 2000 meters. Snow ploughs had to clear the roads as you can see below.
And what about snow in Saudi-Arabia. Check out the amount of people that showed up to have a look at this rare phenomenon.
The capital of Iran (where the skiing and snowboarding is really good) also got huge amounts of snow. The airport of Teheran had to be closed and the temperature dropped far below zero. Check out the photos that were published on the website of the New York Times.
