A group of 35 wePowder skiers and boarders will head to the Alps from the 12th to the 16th of December to start the season. The wePowder Season Kick-Off will be organized and hosted by the ski-, snowboard- and mountain guides of Epique! Small groups, one accommodation, four days of riding and a last-minute where to go (depending on the conditions). It’s the 6th year that Epique organizes the event, first for the Dutch market, but now going international.
The concept
You’ll hear the destination of the wePowder Season Kick-Off a week in advance, depending on the conditions. We managed to find powder in resorts like Sankt Anton am Arlberg, Ischgl, Hochgurgl, Tignes and Val Thorens in the past seasons. The conditions were great last season, but also in the previous seasons where the winter didn’t start that good we managed to find great snow and terrain, while the rest of the Alps was still looking at green alpine meadows.
Groups
A group consists of a maximum of 7 people. This allows the group to move quickly through the terrain and ensures enough personal attention from the guide. There are groups for beginners and advanced riders (skiers and boarders), so each one is challenged at his own level .
Program
- December 12th 2018 > Wednesday evening: Meet + Greet
- December 13th 2018 > Thursday: first day on the mountain
- December 14th 2018 > Friday: Freeride / Touring
- December 15th 2018 > Saturday: More Freeride / Touring
- December 16th 2018 > Sunday: Freeriding till around 2 PM
What’s included?
- 4 day-program (Thursday to Sunday)
- 1 ski and / or snowboard guide per group of up to 7 people
- Hotel (three stars) with breakfast, dinner and shared double room
- Lift pass with 4 days of access to the entire ski area

- Transport to the Alps and back
- Additional overnight stays or lift passes
- Ski & snowboard gear
- Safety gear (such as backpack, beacon, shovel, probe)
- Lunch, après ski and other stuff you want to buy on the mountain
- Personal insurance (travel, accident, cancellation)
