With the FWT Hakuba Japan stop just a couple of days away, the athletes are starting to flock in the city and getting their first taste of the Japow. A lot has happened in the past month in the athlete field and to our huge disappointment, a few athletes on the current line-up won’t be able to make it to Hakuba and for some, for the whole season. Let us give you the run-down.
For medical reasons, the following athletes are out for the season:
- Ivan Malakhov (RUS) - Ski Men
- Hank Bilous (NZL) - Ski Men
- Konstantin Ottner (GER) - Ski Men
- Sam Lee (NZL) - Ski Men
Due to an injury, the following athletes will not make it for Hakuba, but are hoping to be back as of Kicking Horse, Golden BC stop:
- Rachel Croft (USA) - Ski Women
- Leo Slemett (FRA) - Ski Men
- Wadeck Gorak (FRA) - Ski Men
