Powder Alert # 16 is on. It was deep on Thursday, it is deep today and also the weekend will be deep if you know where to go. In my aricle from Wednesday I already indicated where you should be in the coming days. Below briefly the where to go regions:
Saturday and Sunday:
Still good conditions:
-
The northern French Hautes Alpes
-
The northwest of the Aosta
But watch out for the wind. Many storm slabs will be formed. -
all areas in the French Northern Alps
-
Western and Northern Switzerland
Now good conditions as well in:
- The Swiss Alpine Nordhang
- Vorarlberg
Or plotted on a map:
- Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday (watch out for the north wind)
- Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- Saturday and Sunday
Next week
Monday a new storm cycle with rather cool temperatures on Monday. It will get milder on Tuesday with a rising snow line and certainly Wednesday and Thursday seem to be getting mild. After that a new storm cycle is on the charts with cold temperatures and snow. That could be PA#17 for next weekend.
In short, good prospects for the coming weekend. If you have urgent questions, ask them here or via my insta or facebook pages. I will do my best to answer asap.
Your Powfinder, Morris

Looks great Morris! Hopefully Wednesdays warming will be limited and then maybe another little refresh?
