Alright, if you don't get stoked about this, then nothing will get you in the mood to ride powder. Huge amounts of snow came down in the southern Alps last weekend, but it was basically too much and caused a lot of trouble (cut-off villages, high avalanche danger etc). How different it was on the north side of the main alpine ridge, as in Engelberg. Our friends from the Ski Lodge Engelberg sent some images captured by top notch photographer Oskar Enander.
Mount Titlis was closed, but on the other side of Engelberg is the Brunni, a family mountain with a bit more trees and a more acceptable avalanche danger yesterday. With 70 centimeters of fresh snow in the village on Sunday morning, it was a party on the mountain. Face shot after face shot after face shot!
