wePowder Season Kick-Off: 8-12 December 2021!
From the 8th to the 12th of December 2021, a large group of wePowder riders will travel to the Alps to start the season! The wePowder Season Kick-Off will be organised by Epique, a specialized tour operator from the Netherlands with lots of experience in backcountry travel. Small groups, international mountain guides and your own choice of accommodation.
The roots
You will hear the destination where the Kick-Off will take place about a week in advance. In that way we're able to choose the destination in the Alps that will have the best snow. You can end up in St. Anton, Sestrière, Val Thorens or somewhere else. The snowfall will guide us. In previous seasons we managed to ride powder in Sankt Anton am Arlberg, Ischgl, Hochgurgl, Tignes and Val Thorens. We found plenty of good snow in St. Anton am Arlberg and the Paznaun Valley about two years ago. And last year? Well, we all know why that didn't happen. Let's assume that it is possible to travel again in December. In any case, it looks a lot better in terms of travel than last year.
Groups
A group consists of a maximum of 7 people. This allows you to move quickly through the terrain as a group and there is plenty of personal attention from the guide. There are groups for beginners and more advanced riders, so that everyone is challenged at their own level to push their boundaries.
Program
- December 8th > Wednesday evening: Meet + Greet
- December 9th > Thursday: First training day trainings
- December 10th > Friday: Freeriding / Touring
- December 11th > Saturday: Even more freeriding / touring
- December 12th > Sunday: Freeriding until about 14.00

What is included?
- 4 days freeride or freetour program with guide
- Maximum 7 participants per guide
- 10 groups classified according to level, discipline and wishes
- International, experienced team of ski, snowboard and mountain guides
- Organization and a lot of fun with like-minded people

De Kick-off is voor ervaren en beginnende off-piste skiërs en snowboarders die het winterseizoen goed willen beginnen. En wie wil dat nou niet na zo'n bizarre winter als afgelopen jaar?? Je hebt al enige off-piste ervaring en kunt gecontroleerd afdalen in diepe sneeuw.
Who is the wePowder Season Kick-Off for?
The Kick-Off is for experienced and novice off-piste skiers and snowboarders who want to start the winter season in the right way. And who wouldn't want that after such a bizarre winter as last season?? You already have some off-piste experience and can ride powder in a controlled manner .
