Have you done the Likken Schloss yet? Is it skiable without rope and crampons?
From march 24th on we will be at Gressoney again and if snow conditions permit the Likken Schloss could be an interesting choice. I know the entrance and as far as it can be seen from the entrance the slope is fine. How is it after that?
Thank you in advance.
linke schloss is always skiable without rope or crampons... just be aware that the entrance it's exposed to the sun, so wet avalanches could be triggered.
my suggestion is to do it first thing in the morning.
when you're up? this week end i'll be in gressoney, maybe i can suggest you some runs
@Luca,..... When it was my turn to do the rappel, the rock cracked and started to fall down. Luckily Håkon and Mathias realized what was happening and they throw themselves over the rock, trying to stop it. I heard them screaming and I just let myself off jumping the last 4 meters into the couloir, to cut off my weight from the rock, preventing it to crash on our heads...
Great start of the season, @Luca! I need to go to Monte Rosa again soon.
Is there a video of your friend Matt's straightline? It looks a bit like Cody Townsend in Days of my Youth. 😉 Did Seth Morrison ski the same route? I'm looking forward to his video.
@KlasRydstrand ahaha maybe one day... @evan the video is coming soon! i'll post it here when it will be online! seth morrison was skiing under us, on the flat part that you can see in the photo you posted. no steep skiing for him!
