Sestriere to Pragelato off-piste

  Hello all....i live in Alpe d'Huez and each time Morris forcasts a 'retour est' we head to Sestriere for fantastic Piemont powder. We have got to know most of the off-piste routes around the area well after a dozen trips or so in the last few seasons but there is one area that still intrigues us...there seems to be a big bowl that descends from the top of chairlift out of the Borgata side of Sestriere down towards the area of Pragelato...does anyone have experience of riding down this way and what the return to Sestriere is like (do we need to walk out? does the skipass cover the lift back up to sestriere?)...any info would be much appreciated. Happy powder hunting people....

  I know the route. The skipass does cover the lift back up to Sestriere. There is a road towards the lift. With some speed you don't have to walk, but most of the time you have to step a few meters. Nothing to worry about. http://wepowder.com/playgrounds/milkyway/routes/305...
