70% chance of El Nino which means warmer and drier in the PNW of les Etats Unis/BC de Canada, colder wetter in the SW of les Etats Unis (Telluride, Silverton, Taos, Wolf Creek) and more snow in the South Sierra (Mammoth/June). Normally El Nino has little effect on Utah and the Front Range/Central to East Colorado).
I think Morris has some data and an article indicating little correlation between these South Pacific events and wetter in de Alps.
