Yes, they do. But they aren't always that accurate. It depends where the beam is located. Sometimes the beam may overshoot the mountain or can be blocked by some mountains.
At which radar images are you looking mostly?
Hi, I am watching Swiss alps via meteosuisse and others. The recent heavy snowfall was well indicated by the radar but in the past I have observed lesser amounts of snow falling and no radar image.
All clear. The radar for Switzerland is pretty accurate. Especially early and late season the images are more accurate than in winter. This is because of some micro climates you will find in certain vallees.
