Hello my name is Sander Kan, I am a professional ski instructor/Freeskier and in possession of the highest Swiss brevet, German and Austrian Staatliches. So ISIA qualified and ISIA card holder. My first skiing experience was at the age of 4 and since the year 2000 I ski professionally. The most important part of my work is off-piste coaching, guiding and safety instructor for Snow Safety Centre. For my work I travel a lot all over the Alps but my basecamp is Nendaz in the Valais Alps, Switzerland. Here I work a lot in an around "the four valleys" (Nendaz/Verbier). But as well in other parts of Wallis as Val d'Anniviers, Marécottes, Ovronnaz, Evolène, Nax, Arolla and Crans-Montana, etc. In my free time I go climbing and freeriding with friends on high peaks away from the slopes. I have been working 7 summers as mountainbike guide in the 4 Valleys area and I'm guiding mtb tours all over the Alps now. Since 2013 I've done a lot of alpine climbing but the last 4 summers I spend more time on my bike as against the wall. My favorite disciplines on the bike are enduro and DH!
