Lots of powder to be found

The green webcam images just became a little whiter, but horror stories about the bad snow conditions (or simply no snow at all) are still there. But then again, if you’re willing to search for powder and you have bit of a feeling for timing, there’s plenty of powder to be found. Sometimes you have to hike and sometimes you just right down in the fluffy white stuff like that. We’re receiving reports from powder friends from the whole of Europe. And yes, this is what fires the stoke. Check out the video above from Prali (Italy). A paradise when the weather systems decide to throw in a ‘retour d’est’. And check out the Mölltaler Glacier (Austria). They got lots of snow from a southern Stau last wek and our Danish friends from skisport.dk were in the right place at the right time.

They had to go to Ischgl for a ski test, and the question obviously was if they could find some powder there. They had to search a little bit harder, but they had some powder on the fifth of December.

Check out Obergurgl, location of the wePowder Kick Off this weekend. Former Freeride World Tour rider and snowboard guide Irian van Helfteren had to explore the terrain and the snow. And yes, it was approved!(C) Irian van Helfteren @Obergurgl.
