The webcams are showing that great white stuff on the mountains today! Clear blue skies, white peaks and Autumn in the valley. Thursday will be even better when the snowline drops below treeline for the first time this season on Wednesday. It will definitely feel like winter (at least for a day or so). Will we get 40 centimeter of freshies? The webcam images look good, but the last image also shows that the glacier areas still need a lot of snow!

This weekend could be quite okay thanks to the snow coming up this Wednesday. Obviously it’s not enough to leave the marked slopes, but if you have some time, the slopes on the glacier might be in good condition. These ski areas are already open.
