PA#4: the go-to resorts!

PA#4: the go-to resorts!

PowderAlert # 4 is in effect from Saturday (December 2nd) to Tuesday (December 5th). You can expect a lot of snow in the Appenines, the Piedmont and the east of the Alpes Maritimes. But where to go? Not all ski areas are open yet, but we’ve made a list for you where the lifts will be running the next couple of days (or where you can go touring) and where the base is good. Remember that it is still early season and there are two risks that you have to take into account:

  1. There’s plenty of snow, but the snow cover can still be a bit thin locally. Think about rocks and branches that could result in injuries.
  2. When there’s enough snow to ride, there’s enough snow to slide: avalanches

Want access to the most comprehensive online backcountry snow safety courses for skiers and snowboarders? Use code “WEARESKIING1718”, valid until the beginning of March, to get access for only 9€ (Reg: 29€). Go to Mountain Academy and start now!
