A super winter storm brought huge snowfalls to the French Alps, the Italian Piemonte and the Italian Aosta valley. With a record 270 cm of snow that came down at 2100 meters in the French resort of Pelvoux according to local autorities. Roads are closed at the moment but once this snowpack has settled the conditions will be perfect.

Looks like I’m headed to that little village by the Romanche come mid January.
