Expanded RECCO SAR Helicopter Detector Network

Expanded RECCO SAR Helicopter Detector Network

While there are thousands of hand-held RECCO detectors in use worldwide, the RECCO SAR helicopter detector network is growing rapidly. Outdoor enthusiasts, from skiers to hikers and mountain bikers, equipped with RECCO rescue reflectors can be found by professional rescue teams in case of an avalanche or getting lost in the outdoors. With the ability to search an area of 1 km2 (250 acres) in approximately 6 minutes, the RECCO SAR helicopter detector allows professional rescuers to quickly scan large areas for lost or injured victims, in all types of terrain.

Additional brand partnerships

RECCO is excited to announce additional brand partnerships to add to the more than 150 companies that are integrating RECCO technology into their outdoor adventure products including ski boots, helmets, hiking shoes, jackets, pants and backpacks. Recent additions include Black Yak, Nixon, Columbia, Sweet Protection, ZARA, Jöttnar and many more. Please visit recco.com for all brand partners.
