It’s snowing heavily in the Alps at the moment and locally they already got around 20-40 centimeters of freshies. Check out the data below from Switzerland. Fresh snow measured till deep into the valleys and even more higher on the mountain. Our own observators are coming in with reports as well. @49 is reporting 20 centimeters of freshies in Alagna. We expect much more updates through the PowderQuest app today.
It’s still snowing at the moment, as you can see on the satellite image below. The front has moved from the southwest to the east and it’s snowing heavily right now in the southern Alps central and the southern Alps east, but also in parts of the northern Alps central and the northern Alps west. Everything just the way I forecasted it yesterday.
All those freshies result in great images from a lot of places in the Alps. Especially the western and southern parts of the Alps got a lot of snow. Just a quick selection of webcam images.
